BLOCX Internal Regulations
A. Adherence to Rules
Anyone wishing to access the sports facilities undertakes to comply with BLOCX's internal regulations. This internal regulation must be signed before using the sports facilities. Non-compliance with this regulation may result in a ban from the premises. The user's signature on this regulation constitutes confirmation of reading and acceptance of the stated terms. For minors, a legal guardian must also sign the internal regulations.
B. Use of Sports Facilities
- The use of the BLOCX sports complex is subject to a fee.
- Use of BLOCX sports facilities is at your own risk. BLOCX s.a. disclaims all liability for injuries, property damage, losses, or any other incidents that may occur during the use of the facilities. Users must exercise caution, follow the rules and safety guidelines, and acknowledge the inherent risks of sports activities. BLOCX s.a. cannot be held responsible for users' actions or any events beyond its control that may occur during facility use.
- The use of sports facilities (Bloc, parkour, Ninjarack, Fitrack, children's area, etc.) is allowed only after registration and signing of the internal regulations.
- By signing, the user acknowledges the risks of injuries inherent in various activities and accepts these risks.
- The use of sports facilities (Bloc, parkour, Ninjarack, Fitrack, children's area, etc.) is permitted only for individuals holding a valid entry pass and is at their own risk. The user must, at any time and upon request from the staff, provide proof of a valid entry pass.
- Access and use of sports facilities are strictly reserved for individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills for the different activities.
- By signing, the user confirms that they have no physical or medical contraindications to participating in the various activities offered by BLOCX s.a.
- Activities such as bouldering, ninjawarrior, parkour, and calisthenics involve a high risk of falls and injuries. The user agrees not to take unnecessary risks and not to exceed their limits. These activities require great responsibility from the user. The user commits to do their best to avoid uncontrolled falls.
- Prohibition of wearing climbing shoes in the restroom, parkour, fitness, and ninja areas: Please refrain from wearing climbing shoes in these areas for hygiene and safety reasons.
C. Responsibilities and Instructions
1. Instructions from BLOCX staff must always be followed.
2. Claims for damages of any kind are excluded. The establishment declines all responsibility in the event of theft in the locker room.
3. Access to emergency exits must be kept clear at all times.
4. BLOCX does not verify whether users have the necessary knowledge and skills to practice the various activities.
5. It is forbidden to practice the various activities and use the various facilities under the influence of alcohol and/or other narcotics.
6. Alcohol consumption is only allowed after the sessions of the various activities.
7. The different entrance fees are displayed on the price list at the counter and on our website. BLOCX s.a. reserves the right to change these fees. Any change in fees does not apply to the validity period of subscriptions.
8. Partial and temporary closure of different sectors is possible due to restructuring of boulders, parkour obstacles, and ninjawarrior. Any right to compensation is excluded.
9.Priority for Children's Birthdays in Bouldering, Parkour, and Ninja:
Children's birthday groups have priority in these areas. Please prioritize them to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience
9. Registration and/or reservation of classes, rooms, and events (teambuilding, birthday party, etc.) are binding. Any cancellation must be notified by email.
D. Usage Rules Bloc
- Access to the walls and mats is strictly reserved for climbers and spotters. Staying on the mats is prohibited.
- No sweetened drinks, alcoholic beverages, tea, coffee, etc. are allowed in the sports areas. Only water consumption is allowed.
- Climbing below or above another person on the climbing walls is strictly prohibited. A safety distance of >3 meters on the wall must be maintained at all times.
- Before climbing, ensure that the area is clear and that you can maintain a safe distance (>3 meters).
- Passing under a climbing wall is strictly prohibited to avoid collision risks with a climber.
- All signs and instructions must be followed.
- Exceeding established height limits is prohibited.
- Each user must treat other users with respect and refrain from taking risks that could cause injury to themselves or others.
- Anyone on the ground must ensure they remain out of the potential fall path of individuals practicing bouldering, parkour, and ninjawarrior.
- Before jumping off the wall, ensure that the landing area is clear of people and objects.
- Leaving any objects (bottles, food, bags, etc.) on the mats is prohibited. Only "chalk bags" are allowed on the mats.
- Running on the mats is prohibited.
- Climbing holds, climbing volumes, parkour obstacles, ninjawarrior obstacles, and other facilities may become loose, unscrew, or break, resulting in injury risks. Any damaged items must be immediately reported to the staff.
- Access to sports facilities is allowed only with clean sports shoes. Access to climbing walls is permitted only with climbing shoes.
- Modifying climbing holds, climbing volumes, or parkour and ninjawarrior obstacles is prohibited. Any damaged items must be immediately reported to the staff.
- Access to closed sectors due to restructuring is prohibited.
E. Ninja and Parkour Usage Rules
1. If you have any doubts about using the individual obstacles, please inquire with the staff.
2. The obstacle may only be used once the preceding person has left the fall protection area and it is free of objects.
3. Climbing over the obstacles is prohibited.
4. The obstacles may only be used by one person at a time.
5. Safe landing in the wood chip pit: Land with the largest possible body surface when jumping into the wood chip pit. Headfirst and candle jumps are not allowed under any circumstances, as they can lead to serious injuries. It is especially important to ensure that the wood chip pit has been safely exited by the previous jumper.
6. Only "safe" clothing is permitted: Clothing with rivets, cords, bands, loops, belts, keychains, or other sharp accessories are not allowed on the premises. For your safety, please remove piercings, earrings, necklaces, watches, and bracelets.
7. Strict adherence to the operator's safety instructions and house rules is mandatory! Respectful interaction and mutual consideration are expressly encouraged!
8. If you notice any damage to the equipment, please inform the staff or facility operators immediately.
9. The use of parkour is only allowed if the course is clear and free of people and objects.
10. The use of ninjawarrior is only allowed if the course is clear and free of people and objects.
F. Children / Minors
- Parents and legal guardians are fully responsible for minor children.
- A legal guardian must sign the membership application and the internal regulations for any minor.
- Each minor above the age of 12 must be accompanied by a legal guardian during their first registration. The legal guardian must sign a declaration of consent and explain the internal regulations to the minor. Subsequently, minors above 12 years old have the right to use the sports facilities without adult supervision.
- Children under 12 are only allowed in areas specifically designated for their age group -> children's area and family area with blue carpet.
- Children under 12 are not allowed to use ninjawarrior, parkour, and fitness facilities.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a legal guardian or another responsible adult at all times. The supervision ratio is 1 adult to 2 children.
- Children aged 6 to 12 can use all sports facilities provided they have attended a course for 1 trimester. They must be accompanied and supervised by a legal guardian or another responsible adult at all times. The supervision ratio is 1 adult to 2 children.
- Playing in the gym is prohibited, except in areas specifically designed for children -> children's area with blue carpet.
- Minors participating in a group (birthday, after-school care, daycare, school, etc.) are only allowed under the supervision of an adult chaperone. The adult chaperone must previously sign a declaration of consent.
G. General Terms of Sale
- All purchases made are considered final. BLOCX s.a. does not provide refunds for services or products in the event of a change of mind, change of address, injury, illness, or for any other reason not justified by a medical certificate. Please feel free to contact us in case of exceptional circumstances.
- Prices may be subject to adjustments over time. Any price variation will apply only to new monthly subscriptions, course cards, individual course purchases, events, and programs purchased at that time.
- All subscriptions (monthly, courses, events, and programs) are nominative and non-transferable.
- Memberships (entrances, monthly subscriptions, courses, single courses, events, and programs, room rental) cannot be shared. Anyone found sharing their membership will be denied access and will permanently lose their subscription, course card, and access to any other course or event.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to settle any unpaid participation for a BLOCX course or event. BLOCX reserves the right to suspend the membership of the member until the unpaid participation (and/or negative balance) is settled.
- To register or make a purchase via the online booking system, the customer must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Registrations and courses for children and teenagers must be purchased by a legal representative aged eighteen (18) or older on behalf of the child or teenager.
- The customer must ensure that the information provided during registration or at any time is accurate and complete.
- Registration and/or reservation of classes, rooms, and events (teambuilding, birthday party, etc.) are binding. Any cancellation must be notified by email. Cancellation fees are as follows:
