Power Yoga

This Power Yoga class is inspired by Baron Baptiste's teachings. 

Expect a vigorous and dynamic practice designed to build strength, flexibility, and inner fire. Unlike some yoga styles, there will be no music to set the pace. Instead, the focus will be on being present with your breath and the internal sensations of your body as we change through the poses. 

Practiced without mirrors, it is not about what the pose looks like, but instead on creating an alignment of the pose that works for you and your body, and with where you are at right now.

The practice is based on variations of a foundational sequence called "Journey into Power." Through a flow of up to 53 postures, the class moves between themed series, such as awakening, vitality, equanimity, release and rejuvenation.
